PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Vampire Diaries ran on The CW from 2009 to 2017, and Nina Dobrev carried most of it as Elena Gilbert, the girl from Mystic Falls who also happened to look exactly like a five-hundred-year-old vampire named Katherine Pierce. Season six is the one fans come back to. It opens with Elena having compelled away every memory of Damon, and it turned out to be Dobrev’s last season as a regular. The May 2015 finale put Elena into a sleep tied to Bonnie’s lifespan, and she did not return until the series finale two years later.
Elena’s clothes were never costumes. Jeans, a plain top, boots, and a black leather jacket over all of it, season after season. That is the reason this piece still sells as a women’s leather jacket rather than a fan item. On sizing, the cut is slim and close through the chest and arms, the way it looked on screen. If your arms are long, use the custom option instead of sizing up, since a bigger size adds width you do not need. Custom is an extra $40 and we confirm your measurements with you before cutting.
It is a spring, fall and mild-winter jacket. The polyester lining keeps it light, so in real cold wear it under a coat rather than as your outer layer. The hip length is cut for exactly that, it sits above the waist of a longer coat without bunching. Wear it the way she did, with jeans, a plain tee and ankle boots, or over a dress if you want the contrast.

How to measure
Shoulders
Measure straight across your upper back, from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other. Stand tall with your shoulders relaxed — hunching adds up to an inch.
Chest / Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and level all the way round. Keep it snug, not tight, and breathe normally with your arms at your sides.
Sleeve
Start at the tip of your shoulder and run the tape down the outside of your arm to the wrist bone. Keep the elbow slightly bent so the sleeve does not ride up when you move.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, roughly halfway between your lowest rib and your hip bone. Let the tape rest on the body without pulling it in.
