PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The B-3 was the heavy fleece-lined jacket American bomber crews wore in open, freezing aircraft before and during World War II. This version keeps the part everyone recognizes, the thick fleece collar, and pairs it with a simpler, cleaner body you can wear every day.
What sets it apart from belted aviator jackets is the finish at the wrists and waist. Instead of straps and buckles, it uses ribbed cuffs and a ribbed waistband. They hold the jacket close to the body, so the warmth from the lining stays in and cold air stays out. They also give it the neat, gathered shape of a bomber, which looks less like costume and more like something you would wear to work or out to dinner.
The collar is the most practical part of the jacket. Worn flat, it frames the shoulders. Zip the jacket to the top and flip the collar up, and it wraps your neck like a scarf. The faux shearling lining runs through the body, so this is a real winter jacket, not a light layer. The two front pockets are placed for your hands, which you will appreciate on a cold morning.
The outside is real lambskin, valued for its supple feel and smooth grain. That makes the jacket less stiff than the heavy hides of the originals, and it softens further as you wear it.
The fit is classic bomber: roomy through the chest, then gathered at the waist by the ribbed hem. The lining adds some bulk, so take your usual size and size up only if you want room for a thick sweater. If standard sizes do not fit your build, we can make it to your measurements for an extra $40.
Wear it with jeans, a plain sweater and boots. If you prefer the strapped collar and belted waist of the RAF style, see our brown B-3 RAF aviator bomber jacket.

Size Guide
Decormi Jacket
Size Guide
Every Decormi jacket is cut to body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure yourself with a soft tape, match the numbers below, and use the measuring notes further down if you are unsure where the tape should sit.

How to measure
Shoulders
Measure straight across your upper back, from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other. Stand tall with your shoulders relaxed — hunching adds up to an inch.
Chest / Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and level all the way round. Keep it snug, not tight, and breathe normally with your arms at your sides.
Sleeve
Start at the tip of your shoulder and run the tape down the outside of your arm to the wrist bone. Keep the elbow slightly bent so the sleeve does not ride up when you move.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, roughly halfway between your lowest rib and your hip bone. Let the tape rest on the body without pulling it in.
Still between two sizes?
Leather softens and moulds to you with wear, so a jacket that feels close-fitting in the first week settles in. Pick the smaller size for a sharp, fitted look; go one size up if you plan to wear a hoodie or a jumper underneath. Send us your chest, shoulder and sleeve measurements and we will confirm the size before your order ships.
