The white dinner jacket James Bond wears aboard the desert train in Spectre, rebuilt as a clean single-button blazer. Ivory suiting with a satin-faced lapel, a shaped chest and a suppressed waist. Black tie without the black. Wear it to a wedding, a gala, or a Bond night.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
There is a moment in Spectre where the film stops being an action picture for about ten minutes. Bond is on a train crossing the Moroccan desert with Madeleine Swann, dinner is served, and he walks into the carriage in a white dinner jacket with a red carnation in the lapel. Then Mr. Hinx comes through the door and the carriage gets destroyed, but the image had already done its job. It ended up on the poster.
Costume designer Jany Temime built that look with Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca in mind, and the reference lands. The screen jacket was ivory rather than bright white, cut close through the chest with wide peak lapels faced in grosgrain, worn with black trousers, a white pleated shirt, a black bow tie and a cummerbund. The carnation was Daniel Craig’s own idea.
Our version keeps what makes the look work and simplifies the rest. The single button sits at the natural waist and opens the chest into a long clean line, which is the whole point of a white dinner jacket. The satin-faced shawl lapel does the same job the grosgrain peak did on screen, catching light against the matte body of the jacket. Shoulders are lightly structured, the waist is suppressed, and the length is short enough to keep the silhouette sharp without cropping.
It is cut from a premium suiting fabric with a satin-finish lining, so it moves easily and does not sit heavy through a long evening. The welt pockets and the single vent stay flat rather than flaring, which matters more in white than in any other color, because white shows every ripple.
Style it the way the film did. Black formal trousers, a white dress shirt, a black bow tie, black shoes with a clean toe. Add the carnation if you are going all the way. It works for black-tie weddings, summer galas, cruise formal nights, prom, award evenings and Bond-themed parties, and it works just as well over black jeans if you want the jacket without the ceremony.
Available from XS to 5XL. If the standard chart does not fit you, send us your measurements and we will cut it to your body for an extra $40.

Decormi Jacket
Size Guide
Every Decormi jacket is cut to body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure yourself with a soft tape, match the numbers below, and use the measuring notes further down if you are unsure where the tape should sit.

How to measure
Shoulders
Measure straight across your upper back, from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other. Stand tall with your shoulders relaxed — hunching adds up to an inch.
Chest / Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and level all the way round. Keep it snug, not tight, and breathe normally with your arms at your sides.
Sleeve
Start at the tip of your shoulder and run the tape down the outside of your arm to the wrist bone. Keep the elbow slightly bent so the sleeve does not ride up when you move.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, roughly halfway between your lowest rib and your hip bone. Let the tape rest on the body without pulling it in.
Still between two sizes?
Leather softens and moulds to you with wear, so a jacket that feels close-fitting in the first week settles in. Pick the smaller size for a sharp, fitted look; go one size up if you plan to wear a hoodie or a jumper underneath. Send us your chest, shoulder and sleeve measurements and we will confirm the size before your order ships.
