PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Last of Us premiered on HBO in January 2023, with Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann adapting Naughty Dog’s video game for television and Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey starring as Joel Miller and Ellie. Costume designer Cynthia Ann Summers kept Joel’s wardrobe deliberately simple and utilitarian. A shirt, jeans, boots, and a brown trucker jacket he wears in most of the season.
That restraint is the reason people went looking for the jacket. Joel is a smuggler in his fifties walking across a ruined country, not a man with a wardrobe. The jacket he wears on screen is a waxed trucker jacket by Flint and Tinder in brown, an ordinary piece of American workwear that sold out after the show aired because viewers recognized it as something they could genuinely put on.
It is our own cotton trucker jacket inspired by the screen jacket’s general silhouette and earthy brown tone. What you give up is weather resistance, so this is a dry-day jacket rather than something to wear in steady rain.
The build follows workwear rules. A shirt collar that sits flat under a coat, a button placket instead of a zip, buttoned cuffs you can roll back, and two waist pockets your hands fall into without thinking. Two inside pocket and viscose lining so it slides on over a flannel.
On sizing, the trucker cut is meant to sit close at the waist and square across the shoulders, not loose. Custom sizing is an extra $40 if your shoulders and waist do not match a standard chart. You can wear it with jeans, boots, a flannel. That is the whole outfit and it works in three seasons out of four.

How to measure
Shoulders
Measure straight across your upper back, from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other. Stand tall with your shoulders relaxed — hunching adds up to an inch.
Chest / Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and level all the way round. Keep it snug, not tight, and breathe normally with your arms at your sides.
Sleeve
Start at the tip of your shoulder and run the tape down the outside of your arm to the wrist bone. Keep the elbow slightly bent so the sleeve does not ride up when you move.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, roughly halfway between your lowest rib and your hip bone. Let the tape rest on the body without pulling it in.

Leather softens and moulds to you with wear, so a jacket that feels close-fitting in the first week settles in. Pick the smaller size for a sharp, fitted look; go one size up if you plan to wear a hoodie or a jumper underneath.
